Partnership Fees
The fee structure for EEBO-TCP Phase II, when work was active, was as follows. At present, ProQuest is the exclusive distributor of the EEBO-TCP Phase II texts, and sets pricing.
As of July 2012, standard pricing for EEBO-TCP Phase II is:
| INSTITUTION TYPE | FEE |
| ARL or equivalent institution | $60,000 |
| Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with more than 15,000 FTE | $45,500 |
| Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with fewer than 15,000 FTE | $30,000 |
| Undergraduate institution only with more than 2,500 FTE | $21,000 |
| Undergraduate institution only with fewer than 2,500 FTE | $15,000 |
Introductory EEBO-TCP Phase II Fee Schedule (expired June 30, 2012):
Introductory partnership fees were available as an incentive for “early adopters” to support the EEBO-TCP project.
| INSTITUTION TYPE | FEE |
| ARL or equivalent institution | $50,000 |
| Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with more than 15,000 FTE | $37,500 |
| Non-ARL graduate degree granting institution with fewer than 15,000 FTE | $25,000 |
| Undergraduate institution only with more than 2,500 FTE | $17,500 |
| Undergraduate institution only with fewer than 2,500 FTE | $12,500 |
For EEBO-TCP Phase I, which consists of more than 25,000 texts, the per-text cost to ARL libraries was approximately $2, and correspondingly less for libraries in other price tiers. Following the same principle, the per-text cost to individual institutions for volumes in EEBO-TCP Phase II will depend on the number of libraries who commit to partnership.
